I have a keen interest in the techniques and themes found in Baroque and Renaissance oil paintings, and enjoyed putting a modern twist on this style of art with my digital art project.

I am currently part way through a project exploring printmaking, and am enjoying experimenting with lino-cut, trying out various techniques and materials. My portfolio shows some of my first pieces within this project, and I plan to continue developing these skills over the next few months. My next step is to produce some prints inspired by the Momento Mori and Vanitas art of the 17th and 18th century.

I am taking a gap year, focusing on widening my skills and knowledge by taking short art courses related to areas I would like to develop further, and working part time.
